Hi, I’m Sara.

Baking started with my mom’s apple pie. I absolutely loved her pies growing up! They were the best. Fast forward a few years, I discovered the show 'America’s Test Kitchen' and became completely hooked on cooking and baking. What started as a fun hobby quickly became something I was always looking for an excuse to do.

The only problem? I can’t eat everything I want to bake! Lakeside Bakehouse gives me a reason to keep trying recipes, making old favorites, and sharing it all with other people. There’s nothing better than seeing friends and family genuinely enjoy something I’ve made.

Now I get to bake for you, too. Everything is made in small batches right here in my home kitchen in Oak Creek, and I’m so happy to share the goodies with you.
